Can you make a BMW key without the original?
For many models, yes. Depending on the module (EWS, CAS, or FEM/BDC), we program a new key at the car. We confirm the model and year on the phone first.
What is the difference between CAS and FEM on a BMW?
They are generations of the module that stores which keys the car accepts. The generation decides how a new key is programmed.
Does a MINI key work the same way as a BMW key?
Yes. MINI uses the same BMW module families, so the process is similar.
