What does laser-cut keys involve?
A laser-cut key has a wavy groove milled into the flat sides of a thick blade instead of teeth along the edge. It is harder to copy and is used by many European, Japanese, and domestic makes, often inside a flip key or as the emergency blade of a smart fob.
Hardware stores cannot cut these keys. We cut them on a code machine in the van, from your key code, from the lock, or from the VIN when the code is available, and then program the chip.
